This site is provided as a service/meeting place between those wanting to buy an existing outfitting business, looking maybe to expand their outfitting business, or have decided it's time to move on and sell their business. I've also learned that the outfitters I have met are a very helpful lot and are willing to help out a fellow outfitter in need, provided they know of the need. Outfitting businesses are unique in that because of sheer geographical size, outfitters don't often cross paths with other outfitters and aren't aware of their "neighbors" needs. In doing my research, I have found there is no specific "meeting place" to discuss issues or even find a cook for a busy elk camp. That is why I have included a forum to discuss specific issues that fellow outfitters may have and a classified section for those needing help, equipment, or who are looking to dispose of some outfitter specific equipment. So, if this is your first time here, take a minute to look around and see what is available. Maybe you have an old packsaddle that you need to get rid of or are in the market for a new dude horse. Or maybe you are a new outfitter who has questions regarding how you handle a certain situation that maybe some experienced outfitters may be able to help you with.
